Ok. I was in "the business" for a full five months, so I am well aware of the intricacies. I am not going to knock anyone for believing in what they do, though I am glad I got out. The one thing I want to throw out there is that there are some defenders that say managers "take care of their guys" by letting them live with them rent-free, etc. I just have to say that my manager sent us on road trips where he packed us four deep in a Red Roof Inn (or worse!) that barely had a pot of coffee in the lobby. So much for being taken care of! Even if we would be visiting other offices, we were an imposition on the manager in that city, and nonetheless were made to sleep on his or her floor. Is that a joke? I heard all day about how I must maintain my attitude in order to one day (6 months-HAHAHA) reap the ever-amazing benefits of a Daniel Kim, er, Manager under Cydcor. But the all-knowing, all-great Manager who makes six figures can't even spend a little extra dime on his guys. God forbid he let go of any of his money to better his company! Nope, that's left up to the new guys that must train even newer guys and give up 30% of their daily income while the Manager rests his feet on his desk back at the office. I submit to the public that managers like the one I worked for (NOT necessarily EVERYONE in Cydcore) don't really care about their "guys" b/c they know they won't last. But for the time being--4 hours, 3 weeks, 2 months, or however long they last--they're raking in overhead for him. So why shell out an extra room for a road trip when you know they're just going to quit? This, I feel, though I experienced the brainwashing and the dishonest image portrayed in recruiting, is the ultimate in expressing what a mess some of Cydcor's branches (Mometum Marketing--Nashville--BEWARE!!!) are. And I won't even waste my time talking about all of my co-workers who misled and ripped off customers by literally lying to them about the product we were peddling or actually falsifying applications.

No one said it was going to be easy...

First of all let me state that I worked for Momentum Marketing for about a year. In that timeframe I saw many people come and go in the business. In fact, I will say that I either was an initial trainer or assisted in training over 25+ people in the business. I will also state for the record that I am no longer employed with Momentum Marketing, nor do I have any contact or association with management from said company. That being said, I feel that I can give a full, non-biased opinion on this subject. I have nothing to gain or for that matter lose for giving opinions/information about Momentum Marketing.
It burns me up seeing people talking bad about Daniel Kim (the Manager of Momentum Marketing during the time I was there). I can state that Daniel NEVER led me on about the business, nor did he EVER tell me anything but the truth when it came to the business. And please correct me if I am wrong, but I can never recall a time when he told the office that this was easy. In fact, I can remember hearing about stories of how hard it was to achieve what he had. Now we have people on this site complaining about "being lied to"...
I can't speak for every one of Cydcor's offices, but I can speak for this one. I am sure that there are unscrupulous managers out there - the Law of Averages supports that fact (always a few bad apples). Not everyone that gets into this business succeeds. Then again, isn't that true for ALL businesses? The opportunity IS there - I have seen or know of at least 4 people I worked with that have made it into management. I will continue on later....

Poor poor Jimmy. If Momentum Marketing was the best thing that ever happened to you, why are you no longer there? If you could do it all over again, you would, so why don't you? Was Daniel the best manager b/c he tried to make you believe all of your friends, family, and anyone else who thought your job was BS were just lying to you? Was he the best manager b/c he used to have you call people for interviews, and if they asked you if it was a commission-only job you were to LIE to them saying "we compensate people based on their needs"? Was he the best manager b/c he told you to, when taking out a Day of O, make sure you "sold" them on the business, not letting them leave w/o wanting the job (which required you to lie of course cause the job is a scam)? Or perhaps he was the best manager b/c he made you lie to potential employees by saying "I don't know...if you don't take the offer today [and start tomorrow of course--HAHA!] it might not still be available"...? I mean, WAKE UP...we all remember your age, and Alicia's for that matter, but COME ON. You can't be that blinded!!!

Look i dont know who got the wonderful idea to imperonate me on this website but i don't appreciate. As for Daniel Kim, that man is WITHOUT a doubt the best "manager" i have ever had. If there is a manager out there that embodies caring about his "employees" then Daniel is it. Never have i had a job in which i learned as much as the one at Momentum Marketing. This is not a place where you get scammed, its a place where you go out every day and help people. I came home every day with the true sense that i did something good. I just find it desicable that someone would write this and put my name on it. MOMENTUM MARKETING WAS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME, AND IF I COULD DO IT ALL AGAIN I WOULD DO IT IN A HEARTBEAT.

"By accepting the way I was deceived, I set myself up to begin deceiving others."
That is from a man by the name of Steven Hassan in his book combatting cult mind control. Please don't expect all of us to believe that you were 100% honest with the way you hired days of observations. We all know that they get mislead to come in and that they are mislead through the whole day of observation right up to the end when you pretend that you are going to try and do everything you can with the manager to see that they get hired.
Point 2, You are not a weak failure for your inability to do the management training program! You are NOT a cow that is doomed to be a putz for the rest of your life! Very few make it to management, very few managers make any kind of a decent living. Only a few top dogs make any kind of money at all and only a small fraction of managers will ever attain that level. Be glad that you toasted when you did and not as manager so that your credit would be destroyed with unpaid leases and advertising bills.
The business is a con that got me, got you and got a whole bunch of other people. And terribly, they messed with your head. They have you to the point where you are still defending everything they do.
Good luck to you.

Honest ex employee

Ok, so i am a x employee of momentum marketing too. And for the sake of arguement...I never lied to a customer and I was more than honest with the people i interviewed. I resent the fact that a few disgruntle employees put a bad name out there for all of us that worked there.
Further more, if you had a problem with something the managers...daniel kim... was doing why weren't you adult about it and talk it over with him. Though we did not always agree on everything that was done in the office Daniel was there for me through it all for the most part. How many of us got money advanced when we had a bad week? How many of us spent the weekends with him and the other employees hanging out? How many of us had dinner bought for us if we didnt have the cash? True everything about my experience there wasn't full of roses but jesus people grow up. Ive had many bad experiences with employeers but the reason i didn't last more than 5 months at momentum was becasue i wasn't mentally strong enough to do the job and fact is those of you that quit weren't either.
And to the particular person who wrote this report im responding to i'm equally suprise for the fact that the first time i tried to quit they tried to stop me...
If you have a problem with something try facing it for once.
