Dacota and Paula Monk aka Diamond DM Performance Horses Need to be ashamed of themselves. Their treatment of horses behind the scenes is atrocious. Horses have left their place with severe thrush, bad shoeing, and upper respiratory issues. Most customers are unaware of what happens to their animals once they leave and drive off from Dacota Monks falling apart, nasty training facility at his home location. this training facility has few return customers, unless they are not horse knowlegdable and do not know what signs to look for. It's a shame that people allow these 2 con artist to continue to operate as a horse training facility. People beware!!!!!!! Ask around before you send a horse to these people. There are so many horror stories from ex clients of Dacota and Paula Monk out there. Foundered horses, horses leaving with severe upper respiratory infection, such severe thrush that horse could barely get around, starved horses ( to the point of near death) and a severely crippled horse that the Monks lied to the ex client about...... Weekly bag of shavings in a stall.... Really... These people need to clean up their nasty facility and learn what real horse trainers are about and know that a weekly bag of shavings is a joke..... run people... Do not leave your horse with these people. There are some really good trainers out there and they are no more expensive than the Monks. Do your research before you send your beloved animal off.
