It has been over a month now and my Motorcycle has still not arrived. This Wisconsin based company does not provide a fair service. The company employees have outright lied to me over and over during the past few weeks. I contracted with them to ship my motorcycle and they have not carried through with their end of the deal. Company employees have told me the same thing every week "my driver won't get back to the warehouse until next week... so you are looking at next weekend for delivery." If you are looking at getting your motorcycle shipped, do yourself a favor and use a different company.
This company is accredited with the BBB and has some good reviews. But when it comes down to it this company is lacking in customer service and cannot provide the service that you pay for. I have been very disappointed in this company. I dont see how they can stay in business with their business practices.
All I am asking is for a company to be honest and fair to me and provide the service that I have paid for.
I hope I will get my motorcycle before CHRISTMAS!

Shippingmasters rebuttal
AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

Shippingmasters is a licensed and bonded motor carrier broker MC#461199 specializing in motorcycle shipping and we have been in business since 1999. We are a Better Business Bureau (BBB) member and a member of the American Motorcyclist Association. See our website at www.shippingmasters.com where you will find a link to the BBB report on our company. You will also find a link to the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administrations website where you will find a report on our company showing that we have current licenses in place and an active bond on file along with contact information for our bonding agency.
Apparently, we referred "Anonymous" to one of the licensed and insured motorcycle shipping specialists we have worked with for over 8 years named Daily Direct. We informed "Anonymous" of the estimated timeframes and that it would likely take a month or longer for delivery this time of year because bike shippers are at the busiest during the summer months and the bike was evidently being delivered to a remote location (anywhere in Idaho is considered remote). We provided "Anonymous" with a number of different shipping options to choose from. "Anonymous" was told at time of booking that there were other options that were faster than Daily Direct. The faster options cost more and "Anonymous" selected the least expensive option that was slower than the other options available.
Below is an excerpt from our quote form that we send to all customers:
"Note: Pickup and delivery timeframes are estimated averages and not guaranteed. Some shipments take less time and some take more time than estimated."
Additionally, current quotes state the following:
"Remote locations (as defined by the shipper) often take longer than estimated. Shippingmasters doesn't have access
to the shippers scheduling systems. The shipper we refer you to is responsible for all scheduling functions."
There are many factors that can affect a shippers schedule such as; weather, road conditions, road construction, mechanical failures, driver illness, driver fatigue, federal driving limits, holidays, customers not be available for pick up or delivery, etc. We work with over 50 shippers and none of them allow us to guaranty pick up and delivery timeframes.
Daily Direct is responsible for all schedule related activities and I recommended to them to submit their own rebuttal as well.
Thanks for taking the time to read Shippingmasters side of this story.
