Daimler Chrysler Canada ripoff bad ball joints excessive tire wear Windsor Ontario

i purchased a new dodge 1 ton ram van in april 2003
at 9000 kilos front tires were wearing on the outside edges i took the van to loacl dealership northland dodge superstore prince george b.c. they rotated tires realigned vehicle sent me on my way

at 26000 kilos front tires were toast!!! my husband went to dealership during the week got alignment specs talked to service advisor was told wheel bearings were bad
repack em every 6000-10000 kilos ambulances had this problem as well

he took alignment specs to another local shop they said was too much toe went back to dealer on saturday with van and info and we quizzed the service manager on duty different person

we were told it was the roads we driving on (city hiway different alignment he stopped when we told him city driving)i am a courier driver hauling between 1500-2500 lbs of freight i deliver small packages i hand load my van

i was told it was the loads i carry stopping and starting the amount of turning i do my hubby lost it!!!!

new winter tires put on alignment seemed ok done at independant shop although they found a loose wheel bearing had the repack bearings adjust and align after paying 128.00 for this service at DEALERSHIP THEY DID NOT FIND LOOSE WHEEL BEARING

SUMMER TIRES NEW ONES put on in april now are toast becasuse of bad ball joints seems to be a chrysler problem on several models

chrysler says alignment problem between myself and the dealership - dealership says no problem with van

however i have a no. of people with these vans experiencing same problem one with 30000 kilos on it not used as a courier van is a 2001 year van she has problem with wear on outside edges is a 1/2 ton van SERVICED ONLY AT DEALERSHIP TIRES ROTATED ETC.

at 58000 kilos i now have gone through original tires winter ones i can get this winter out of other front tires are scrap this will be the fourth set of front tires on van!!!!!!!!!!

i had a different make of van a 3/4 ton and even with high kilos got 50000 out of a set of tires easy same loads same cargo!!!!!!!!
