If you are a Dodge or Chrysler owner BEWARE after the basic 36 months or 36,000 mile warranty anything else in the warranty book for longer coverage really isn't.
Why? That's what I want to know!! Miracle Chrysler Dodge in Gallatin Tennessee gave me a nice print out showing me the transmission control module that needs replaced ($800.00 worth)
isn't. But couldn't tell me why my warranty book says it is for 7 years or 70,000 miles.
Don't bother calling the DaimlerChrysler Motors Corporation National Customer Relations at (800)922-1997 either. Even armed with the warranty book page and section. I was told the warranty book is "just generic" and may or may not cover what it is listed.
So armed with my warranty book that says the transmission control module on my 2001 Dodge Status is covered for 7 years or 70,000 miles I am facing a $800.00 repair bill because Dodge gave me a warranty that really doesn't cover what it says.
AND ONE MORE TIME THE BIG GUY WINS !!!!!
