On 8-28-06 I called dallas County Auto Salvage and asked if they had a climate control switch for a 1995 chev silverado truck they said yes they had 75 of them I asked for the price they said it was 75.00.

so I then went over and they brought on up front and told me it was now $81.00 so i paid I told him I was having trouble with the shop I had my truck in and that they were giving me the run around on they same part I was buying from them john the salesman told me I should file a lawsuit aginst them I told him it was not worth it and left (I was not at any time told I needed a replacement core) there is a reason for this statement.

When I got home I tryed to install they had give me the wrong one.
I called them and they said bring it back they would exchange.

So the next day I went to pick up they correct one and then told me I needed to bring him the old one he give me 10 days

I got home and installed the part and only they 1st and second speed worked and we desided to just keep it, but 3 days later we tried to turn on heat and it would not work at all on heat. I called him and told him he said bring it in he would change I told him the man at other shop had thrown away the part he said we would work it out.

They next day I went and they then told me they did not have the part and to call him next week he would get it.

So the next week I called and they did not have it. I kept calling every two to three days and after 45 days later they told me they had the part I said I would be right over and john told me to come the next day. He was leaving so on oct 13 2006 I went over to pick it up and was told I had to pay them 40.00 more I told them I would not, and was them told I should have brought them the core.

I asked why was I not asked to bring it the first time they said they always do I must have not understood. I guess since I am a woman I do not know any thing themn the salesman said well just give him 20.00 and we would call it even (NOT) I told him to just give me back the old part I had returned and they could talk to my lawyer.

The other man said to just give me the part and left me leave (john then took my receipt and wrote void on warrenty and wrote sold as is and told me that they would not exchange it again so I just took it and left I have not tryed it to even see if it works I will tommorow. I will update at that time
