I have not yet been ripped off by this company, but their actions are questionable.
I purchased some thermal underwear from Damart USA online. I gave them my credit card and completed the purchase. I was suppossed to get an order confirmation, or at least a confirmation number. Nothing. No phone number listed on website, so I asked them a question from their website. No response. I sent a second EMAIL No response. I sent a third EMAIL. No response. I then searched for 'Damart USA phone', and found a business directory listing them in New Hampshire. I called the number. Guess what. It is a business, but not Damart. Not to give up easily, I found a phone number from their UK website. An operator tried to complete the call, but the phone was not in service. Now I am very worried. There are complaints on British websites complaining about customer service and for misrepresenting items in their catalog.
Doesnt seem good, does it. I suppose it is possible that I may receive merchandise, or perhaps they are the world leader in poor service, but I will be checking on that credit card daily.
Damart USA- step up to the plate and explain yourself!!!

Damart UK phone number seems to work

I just called the number on the Damart UK website and it seems to work fine. It was probably an issue with not knowing exactly how to dial international numbers, particularly in the UK.

I finally received a reply from customer service, saying they would look into the problem. Let's hope that they do. I will update this again if and when they get back to me. Considering the bogus phone numbers mentioned initially, I have my doubts. Damart is a high quality product I have used for decades. It is hard to believe that this is just shoddy service. Time will tell.
