Damen Z Marin Switzer Maids Conned out of my work wages, gas & supplies money. fort collins, Colorado

Damen Z Marin posted an ad on craigslist representing his company Switzer Maids. I responded and was contacted within two weeks for hiring. He called with an address. After discovering the house was an hour away from my location in Greeley I called back and told him I could not because it was too much gas money. He told me this would be the only house in Erie and my other jobs would be in loveland, greeley and fort collins. He also said I would be paid in cash at the end of the day. After four and a half hours cleaning the house he did not pay and said he would the next day. Nope.

After that I was hired and he said I would get paid in two weeks. During the two weeks none of the houses were located in Greeley or Loveland. All far away. He offered compensation for gas and supplies.

At the end of the two weeks I gave him a log of my hours for him to give to his accountant. Three days later I asked him when I could meet him to pick up my check. He said it wouldn't be a check it would be cash. We were to meet at the 7/11 on 34. No show. I called and called. No response.

My father sends me a link to this website and a news article from CBS. Turns out I'm not the only one who has been a victim of Damen Marins cons. I email text and call him over and over and over. I visit his mother Cynthias house to find out where Damen is as I have become very worried he skipped town. His brother Andrew says he will be back home that night. I finally hear from Damen. He says he is in Estes cleaning a hotel and will be back at noon the next day. Not home. I call and call and text and text. He says he will be home at 9:00 that night. No response. So I write more emails and more texts as I am extremely worried.

The next day I receive a call from the Loveland police department. Damen is filing a harassment charge for all of the texts messages phone calls voice mails and emails. I am told by the police. Department to not contact him and he says he will send me a time to meet right away. 2 days later nothing. I start asking him when we will meet and if he does not respond I will have to take him claims court.. he says I am threatening and harassing him. I tell him I just want a time to meet. He refuses calling the police again. They tell me the money isn't worth the harassment charge and to leave him alone. He emails me and says it doesn't have to be difficult I AGREE I ask him for a meeting time yet again or I have no choice but to get my money through court. His last reply is see you in court and sends me a phone number for his attorney. No answer. No voicemail message anything. Just static.

If there is anyway someone can assist me in court, give me advice or even encouragement please help me. There is a chance I can get a harassment charge for just asking when I would receive money. He baited me.
