Damion Degeorgio presents himself as a reputable Internet wholesale furniture dealer. I bought a bedroom set from him for $485.00. The set was paid for on September 20th and the Furniture pick-up date scheduled for September 29th. When called on the 29th, Damion stated he thought the pick-up date was the 30 and so we reschedule to pick-up on the 30th. Everything went as planned and the furniture was delivered and everything was great.
With everything going well, I needed to order 2 more sets of the furniture for my mother and sister. We called Damion on October 3rd and placed the order for two more sets and added the chest of drawers also. Damion insisted on cash payment by Wednesday October 5th for a delivery date of Friday October 7th. He was paid on schedule and then advised us the delivery date would need to be monday, we agreed. On Monday he stated he could only deliver one set because it was raining he could not deliver the second set until Tuesday. Fully disappointed we agreed. When he arrived on Monday with the 1st set he did not deliver the chest of drawer and advised my mom he wold bring tomorrow when he delivered the second set to my sister's house. When Tuesday came he said he had a flat tire and could not deliver the furniture and arguing over several text messages and phone calls he finally agreed to bring the furniture later that day. When Damion arrived with the furniture he left it in the garage and did not take up stairs and the box with the dresser had a visible dent in it, and he did not have the chest of drawers again! After having my brother take the furniture up stairs and unboxing it, the dresser had a very bad dent and the handle on night stand was missing the screws. We sent Damion a picture immediately and He never answered back. We called him on Wednesday morning and he advised us that he would replace the dresser and would be on his way with the chest of drawers by 11am. As the day went on and he had not shown up with the chest, we got a call from Damion stating that all the chest were dented and he would not be able to deliver it for another week. So we started investigating what was going on and called the vendor of the furniture and they advised us that the chest was out of stock and they would not get any until Mid to Late November maybe early December and that their were no chest what-so-ever at the wharehouse. So we called Damion and asked him for the money back on both chest. He refused stating that he had one and would get the other next week. We asked for proof, he sent pictures of the chest and the item number to verify it was what we ordered. We then asked he would deliver the one chest and refund the money for the second. He became irrate and did not want to deliver or refund any of the money. We advised him that either the furniture be delivered today or the authorities would be notified and sent to his door for full refund. After arguing all day by text and phone calls he finally brought the chest and gave a refund for the second chest and a discount for the dented dresser. We were blessed God allowed us to triumph over this Super Scammer but beware if he can string you along he will and because he gets the money up front it leaves you with the burden of finding him and filing s civil case to have any form of recourse.

In the greater scheme of things, Damion, you may be right and the customer wrong, or at least over-reactive.
However, when you have a situation where already something major has gone wrong once, twice and counting, the better part of common sense for a store ought to be to bend WAY over backwards to rectify the situation to the customer's satisfaction, not your store's.
The customer had already dealt with lousy delivery service, damaged pieces, missing pieces, delivery delays, the cause of which may have been legit, but no less aggravating for a customer, who may have taken off of work to wait for it.
Getting irate for any reason in response to such a customer venting is going to be counter productive, and all these factors combined have landed you here.
Likely, given the reality of these factors, you're not likely to have any case against the customer.
Perhaps as a pastor, she should have dug deeper within herself to give you more benefit of the doubt, but you burned through several chips with all the mishaps, and it would appear you acted afterward in less than a conciliatory manner.
As a reader, I would like to hear an explanation why they were left with the goods in the garage instead of carried further in, and how such visible damage wasn't caught before delivery completed.
