Dan Heskett is a con artist.  In November 2014 I found a property on the Internet for lease 1016 Honeywell Dr in Anna, Tx.  I contacted the number listed I then spoke to Dan Heskett.  He stated he was out of town but would contact a local real estate agent contact us to show my husband and I the home.  

A few days later we were shown the property.  The next day we were contacted my Mr. Heskett and he stated we would not be using the real estate agent we would deal directly with him.  We reached an agreement on the home he then had us deposit $2000 cash into Ann Heskett's Bank of America checking account.  Which I have all the correspondence between myself and Mr. Heskett verifying the transaction.  I also have the statement from the bank showing I withdrew the money then ten minutes later deposited it in Ann Heskett's account.  The $2000 was for the deposit for the property.

Mr. Heskett was to send us the lease because we were to move in Jan. 1 and at that time we would pay the monthly rent.  We never received a lease and on Dec. 12 I finally received an email stating he had decided not to lease the property and would return our money.  I tried to call him to no avail, I sent text messages no response.  I then sent a message stating I would be reporting him to the Anna Police Dept.  I finally received a response after that message.  Mr. Heskett stated he mailed out check on Dec. 13 and would receive it by Monday or Tuesday.  I waited to contact the police after the mail ran on Tuesday and still no check.  He again would not return my calls or texts.

When I went to the police, the sergeant called him and he returned his call and said we would have the money on or before this Thursday. He also sent me a text message stating the same thing.  As of today still no check.  Now this man has the nerve to send me a message stating if I continue to harass him then he will sue me.  The attorney's name he said would handle the case is also on this site with bad reviews.

I have three children whom thanks to this man will not have a Christmas this year.  If anyone has information on this con artist please contact the Anna, Tx Police Dept.
