Dan and Gwen Harbour d/b/a Husky Harbour Breeders who have breeding stock and puppies in unsanitary pest infested conditions and who operate in unscrupulous illegal manner El Dorado Arkansas

 We researched to find a well established reputable Siberian Husky breeder in our state. These breeders had been in business over twenty years and the photos of the breeding stock reflected beautiful dogs. Upon contact Gwen was personable and knowledgeably e. They had an upcoming litter we were very interested in so with e placed the deposit and in short order paid entirely in full before pickup date. We also paid a down payment on a pup from a different unrelated future litter to be a mate for our dog. Everything was fine until we went to pick up our pup Upon arrival the puppy was thrust at us right at the front door. Of course all thought were going through my head...how are we going to sign papers etc. plus our puppy smelled abominably. We were finally invited in and sat at a table to fill out all necessary papers. She is AKC and we paid extra for all breeding rights which is reflected on our contract and AKC puppy registration papers. After completing these we had notice not just that our dog had a horrible scent but there were bumps and sores all over her. Breeder tried to say it was cradle cap. We were then asked if we wanted to see pup's parents. Mom was in converted inside facility in tiny cage with eight pups. Smell was nauseating. Dogs covered in mixture of feces, urine and spilled water bowls. Looked like all rolled in disgusting Hershey's Syrup. We had to just bolt out to keep from vomiting. We then were given tour of all dogs. Rest were outside including our pup's site. He looked nothing like pics on website. He looked starved. Ears damaged and hanging. All of the outside dogs in tiny pens filled with feces. Can't tell you how quickly we left. As soon as possible we made vet visit. Our pup had hookworm, fleas and lice. All the sores due to bites and skin problems due to filthy conditions. We informed breeder. Flat refusal to pay any vet fees. We were on her website and another buyer was complaining about the lice so we told them what our vet recommended and breeder blocked us both. Then they demanded we return our dog and got online with AKC and registered our dog in their name. We never said we did not want our dog! We asked them to pay portion of vet bill to bring her to health she should have been at when we purchased. Worse of all our pup contracted parvovirus before her next shot was due! Cost us hundreds to pull her through. Our vet said they suspect breeder did not give shots or may have given expired shots. We are currently battling to get her papers out of their names and into ours. It has been a long drug out process. I do NOT recommend this breeder
