Dan Escamilla is not real and does not know what he is doing. He tells everyone he is an experienced bail agent, yet has only been licensed for a short time. He Bamboozled his way into teaching a bounty hunting class after only making a hand full of arrests.

Bounty Hunters are not the police, they are private citizens. A bail contract is private and is a civil contract between a bail bond company and a defendant who was released from jail. When a bail bond agent revokes a bail bond, it is their job to arrest and book the defendant back into the jail. It is not the job of the police to do the job of a bounty hunter.

Due to the fact that Dan Escamilla is SCARED AND AFRAID to make an arrest by himself, he calls on the local police to assist him with his private job.

Although the defendant does not have a warrant, Dan Escamilla calls Huntington Beach Police to stand by and babysit him while he makes an arrest on a defendant who does not have a warrant. This is THEFT OF TAX PAYER DOLLARS. It is not the job of the police to help Dan Escamilla revoke a bond because he does not know how to do it by himself. 

Bounty Hunters save tax payers money by arresting fugitives and revoking bonds on their own.  The police have enough to do without babysitting Bounty Hunter Dan Escamilla.  Dan Escamilla abuses his contacts as a reserve deputy to have police officers assist him and do his job for him. 

Dan Escamilla went to law school, however, he could NOT pass the California State Bar so he became a BAIL AGENT.

Dan Escamilla flunked out of the sheriff's academy, so he became a Deputy Reserve Officer.
