Dan Fazio Daniel Fazio Fraud Scammer Scammed a Veteran fresh home from Iraq with a "credit help" service scheme Coral Springs Florida

Back in 2009, my husband came home from Iraq and we decided we wanted to buy a house with his VA loan. We wanted to make sure our credit was in tip top shape and we came across this guy Dan Fazio offering credit help services. I set up a meeting with his at a fake office in Palm Beach Gardens off Military Trail in a business plaza. He must know the real owners of this place because they let him use a conference room to meet with me. He said I'd pay $500 up front for the service and $45 for each item knocked off my credit. He was your typical sly talking hustler New Yorker. I didn't see it at the time but looking back I was completely blindsighted. I gave him the $500 in cash that we had saved to go to Disney World when my husband came home from Iraq. I filled out a business contract with him which included giving him our driver's license numbers and social security numbers. I never heard from him again. I called him, emailed him, went by the office I met him at (which is when I found out he does not have an office there). Finally one day when I called his number a woman answered claiming to be his wife. I told her the situation and she claimed he had to go out of the country for an emergency but she was a lawyer and would handle the credit services for us herself. After that call. Never heard from her again. Don't be surprised if you get an identity theft alert some time after dealign with this guy.
