Dan Morgan Canine Wakeup Dan Morgan of Canine Wakeup and Chicago Canine Academy, Jim Morgan, accused of dog abuse Chicago, Illinois

Dan has admitted to kicking the dog.  He said so on the Canine Wakeup Yelp page with his account.  He is clearly very mentally disturbed, violent, and manipulative.  He has called people "f*king f****t," and also admitted on his Yelp page to calling a man a f*g.  The negative stories about him and his father Jim Morgan of Chicago Canine Academy where Dan learned his training, the stories just keep on coming, from many people.

Excerpts of what's happened:

I have been in rescue for a very long time and have rescued dogs who have been physically abused. Dogs who have had their spirits broken. We have spent countless hours working with these animals to get them to trust people again. Never in my life have I witnessed an abuser actually abusing an animal until today and I am sick to my stomach. During an adoption event Dan Morgan from Canine Wake Up did the unthinkable. This was an off leash play group and all the dogs were using the indoors as their potty. When his foster dog peed on the floor
Dan Morgan began kicking the dog in the stomach repeatedly, yanked up violently on his prong collar multiple times and then strangled him by holding him up in the air. The entire time this poor dog was screaming and crying for help. Dan kept yelling at the dog calling him an a**hole. This man calls himself a dog trainer and people pay him money to train their dogs. He did this in front of witnesses. Imagine what he does when nobody is around. He literally broke this dogs spirit. Please help spread the word and tell people to keep their babies far, far away from
this monster.

He abused a dog that I had rescued and I was there to see it as was my oldest daughter. If you need 2 more witnesses to another occurance of abuse and cruelty, count us in.

I went to a training event through West Loop Meetup Group. Dan Morgan was the featured trainer. I left after just five minutes.

AND ANOTHER
Dan is not only a very rough trainer, he is not an effective trainer and he cant train a dog to the point of reliability.  he can only bully them and create fear-induced responses.

AND ANOTHER
I made a huge mistake going to Chicago Canine Academy and letting Jim Morgan train my dog.  My dog was beaten and sick.

Accused of killing a dog in training.

"Just a retort to all of this nonsense written here, yes I did correct my foster dog hard for peeing on my leg. Yes i gave him a not even hard kick in the side with stop the pee and i popped him hard twice. Believe me my foot would hurt if I had any force in it and I don't feel bad at all about it either......"

He is a monster.
