Dan Murphy Murphys Auto Center Unleashed Performance, Hot Rod Garage Sewell New Jersey

 While rebuilding the motor for my 1969 Chevelle in July of 2013 Dan charged like me for brand new parts and in return used old damaged parts. I gave Dan ashes of my father that had passed away to have added while the car was in his partners shop which was attached to the premise. Chris from Chris's classic restoration who also has seemed to drop off the face of the earth. My wife went down to the shop when I called the shop and was informed by Danson son that even as no longer affiliated with the business. Apparently Dans son and his father Dan Sr. we're trying to make good on all the corruption that Dan Murphy created. My wifes fathers ashes were no where to be found and Dan was not returning calls. At this time Chris was still trying to remain innocent and saying he was not informed of all of the ripping off Dan has done. After my wife spent hours at the shop refusing to leave without her father's ashes and threatening to either rip the place apart herself or call the police Dans son broke into Chris's tool box and the ashes were found. Over 10 thousand dollars charged for work that was never completed by Dan I am still trying to recover the money. Filed in court and won but of course because Dan has become a Phantom I have had no success. In this process I have learned that Dan also ripped off another gentleman and his wife with their corvette down in Delaware, this is the owner of a transmission shop who thankfully made good on Danson promise of my high performance transmission and only charged me his cost. So of course I paid it but again paid double as I already paid Dan for the transmission. I also learned that Dan Murphy held multiple fund raisers claiming that the money would be donated to charities and in return he kept the proceeds. If anyone reading this knows of his where abouts please post something to this site so that maybe together we can figure out how to reclaim our money back together and hopefully put Dan where he belongs in JAIL. There is no reason this scum should walk away with all of our money and leave us with the bill of having to pay a second time to have work done that he promised from the beginning.
