Dan Nelson - council Bluffs - J.D. Byrider, CNAC, FSB ripoff Council Bluffs Iowa

Hello my name is Jodi and like most of you I have the same problem and complaint. My husband and I filed bancruptcy in August of 2002. And like most people we just wanted to try and get our credit back. We went into Dan Nelson finance center in January of 2003 and like all of you I didn't have the van a week and it had transmission problems. My van had to go back to the shop 10 different times for the same problem, which by the way my warranty is out and it is barely getting my by.

They financed my van for 7900.00 and with an interest rate of 24.9% well after two years of paying on the piece of crap (for better terms) I still owe 6,.000.00 as of Friday,7 2005. I can't imagine paying on something for two years and oweing that much. The problemn is that they think they can scam people for the sake of there pocket book and laugh at each and everyone of us so they can make a buck. I have tried to trade it back to them and they have told us our credit is to damaged. But yet two years fresh out of bancruptcy they financed us and now we have worse credit now but we didn't then YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!!!. I can't even trade this van in anywhere because I owe to much against it thanks to them.

I am sorry but he needs to pay for the way he scams the weak, vulnerable, desperate people of this world. My story could keep going on but your right it would take all of us to long. The sad part about it is that we know 5 of our friends/family that have vehicles through his council Bluffs office. So watch out all! I hope we all get something back out of this because it sure wasn't a dependable cheap automobile.
