Dan Nelson Supercenter Aka JD Byrider Aka CNAC rip-off! Des Moines Iowa

Dan Nelson Supercenter is the nightmare of my life. I went to them because my credit is poor due to the fact that I've been on disability for 3 years and I've had medical bills, I lost my home and my car and currently living with my grandmother after living on the street for awhile. They said they could help me and my sales person Archie said he understood my situation and would put me into a dependable car with a one year warranty. They were all so nice, I really believed it!

I admit it was my fault also because I was sick, I didn't listen closely to the terms and didn't even know my interest rate was over 30% when I drove off smiling in my new 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix. I didn't understand that I would be paying this outrageous amount for a giant red lemon! So many things have happened, it broke down 2 days after I took ownership and had to be towed, and since April 28th, 2003, they have actually had the car in the shop more than I've had it to drive.

This last time it broke down during a blizzard, we had to walk to safety and police impound towed it the next morning, adding an additional $155 just to tow it back to the dealership. They've had it over a month, we went to get it and it wouldn't start after they put a new motor and starter in it. I called today to see if it was running and they can't find the keys!! The car has been in their at least 10 times! No one will help me!
