I found this webpage on the internet advertising a product called SATELLITE TV for PC. Sounded really good. Ad says "Why pay over $90.00 a month for Cable or Satellite TV services? Over 2800 STATIONS on your PC or Laptop for free!! Watch hundreds of LIVE worldwide channels on your PC, free of charge: Sports, News, Movies, Music, Weather, Kids Channels, Educational, Shopping, Clips. Stop paying for high-priced cable or Satellite services! Watch LIVE Games (even the games that are not shown elsewhere) - with our software!
They were selling three versions from $39.95, $49.95 and $99.95. I bought the $39.95. Other versions had more channels supposedly. I bought, downloaded and installed the software and started browsing on what I can watch. They were mostly foreign stations, mostly asian, maybe Chinese or Japanese. I was able to connect to USA Network and comedy central. But the picture quality was very poor and breaks up on full screen mode. I tried the sports channels but I couldn't get a clear picture bec. it was breaking up. I have DSL connection and there shouldn't be any reason for the picture problem. I've also watched paid movies on my monitor and they were clear so I know it's not my monitor. And they said minimum requirement is dial up.
I wonder how the dial up connection would perform when my DSL is already getting bad reception. And to top it all, they do not offer any money back guarantee. I did get a refund though even though they said they do not offer refunds because I purchased their software through Clickbank and Clickbank gave me a refund because I complained to them. But what about those people who don't know that they could complain to clickbank and get a refund. They will not get their money back. This is really false advertising at its best. I hope someone would stop them from selling this on the internet or at least make them modify their ad copy.

The Dan Trif Group software works for many, many people, including me. While individuals may encounter some problems, I think the fact that this consumer was able to get a refund and that many of us can use the software as advertised shows this isn't a ripoff.
