I signed up for a piece of jewelry with Dani Jewelry in August '09 to qualify at Zero Price tags. When I received the jewelry it was the cheapest piece of jewelry I have ever seen and definitely not what I ordered. I telephoned the company and talked with a fellow and told him I wanted to cancel out. He told me that a second piece of jewelry on my account was already in the mail. He said he would cancel my membership. He said he would replace and send the correct piece to me which I never received. We ended up contacting our Credit Card company and they were very helpful in taking the charges off. Thought that was the end of the deal! Now, on Dec. 9th I receive a package from Haute Jewelry Direct thanking me for my order. I did not even open the package, marked it "Scam Order - Send back to sender". I tried to telephone them several times; each time I got the message that all there people were busy. A few days later I get another package from them, which I returned the same way. Now, we have a charge for $89 on our credit card from Modern Readers from Ill. with a similar telephone number. May have to cancel out that credit card in order to stop any further charges. So, BEWARE don't sign up for anything with any of these names.
