Complaint Description:
I would like a bad mark placed on Danny Venz State Farm Insurance. I am a first time home buyer and home owner and last year, we met with this insurance company three or four times to make sure we have the best coverage and if anything happens to anything - they will repair, replace, or fix anything. Now that three things have happened: Flood, Thieve, and Damage.. I called them up to let them know what we need to do. They informed me that we need to pay $11,000 to them in deductibles in order to get $2,000 in repairs. I said what? This is exactly WHY I went to you four times last year to get the best advice.. best coverage.. and this is the direction they have steered me in.
They responded: Well you chose these deductibles and these policies. I said - we met with you four times to make sure this is the best decision and the best policy for us. You led us in the wrong path!
Your Desired Resolution:
We are paying them average $1200 per month in insurance.. that's $14,400 a year. Do we need this type of bill if we have to pay $11K to get something replaced or repaired. They use scare tactics to get you to sign up for insurance not to mention it's the law.. BUT when it comes down to repairing anything - they want you to pay more money. The $14,400 a year that I pay could go to ANY and ALL repairs with money leftover in my pocket! YAY!
If you are a victim of Danny Venz and his scam tactics where you pay $1200 per month and when it comes down to repair anything - they want more money - well it's time to cancel Danny Venz and take the $14,400 you spend with them and SPEND IT ON REPAIRS!
It's that simple.

I have been a customer of the Danny Venz agency for four years. They have always been upfront and very professional in all of their dealings. Unfortunately rates and deductibles are high for homeowners in Texas... Welcome to Dallas...
From my reading of the complaint it sounded as if their was 3 seperate incidents which unfortunately would have 3 seperate deductibles...
I am happy to refer friends and family to the Danny Venz Agency.

I have been a client of Danny Venz Insurance Agency since he opened the agency back in the late 80s. Danny has always gone of of his way to serve our family. Our house was damaged by fire about ten years ago and Danny showed up in the middle of the night to help us and even gave my family money for a hotel room for the night since the claims department was closed and could not help us.
The report above does not seem to have many facts. Like they mentioned, insurance is required by law and there are always deductibles. Not knowing anything about their home or the damage that was done, I can not really take anything away from that review. It seems like this complaint applies more to the industry as a whole and was misplaced on Danny.
I would refer Danny to anyone who is looking for insurance in Texas.
