I would extremely advise ANYONE needing data recovery to stay away from Data Recovery Labs! Three weeks after mailing a failed hard drive in it's exclosure to them, I had to call to see if they even had received it yet. Really? They had "shelved" it and never contacted me about what was wrong with it.
After they found it on their shelf they said the data "may" be able to be recovered for over $1,500, but couldn't guarantee how much was recoverable. I paid to have it returned to me (without having it repaired) and when it arrived, only half of what I sent them was returned. It was missing the $75-$100 enclosure I mailed it in to protect the drive.
They were slow to respond. Actually, I believe I had to call them every time. After weeks and weeks of waiting for them to find it, they said that since they didn't make a record of receiving it, maybe I didn't send it to them! Nothing more to say really.
Stay away from Data Recovery Labs!!!!
