As an ex employee, I have never worked for a company that lies to their customers. I was fired because "according to them" I was not making money for the company. In other words, I had to lie to the customer. I always did my job, I always told the customer the truth, and I believe I was fired because of that. I have been in this field for 11 yrs and I have never busted my butt, like I did with this company. I quit my previous job, because my so call friend told they had a good product. I was afraid at first, but it took me about 6 months that the company was selling a bad service and product. I regret quitting my job, because now, I am unemployed because I believe that p***k? On one occasion, a customer was so upset that datavo promised him some work at his business, but they never did? As a field technician, I try to make the customer happy. So I told the customer, I would take care of it. Which I did on my day off (saturday), datavo did not authorize the overtime, so I did not get paid. The customer was upset because of that fact. Also their customer service sucks? It makes the technician look stupid when arriving at customers business and customer is complaining. All I have to say is stay away from datavo, there product DOES NOT WORK! I am a witness to that!!! So people, stay with your current provider, even if it's more money that you are paying, it'll be worth in the long run. (You get what you pay for)

In defense of a company that I've worked with for over 8 years I feel compelled to respond to the posting by the Ex-Employee from Bellflower, California. Let it be known that I was the individual responsible for the hiring and firing of this employee. Furthermore, this individual was not fired due to his inability to "make money for the company," but rather for what he cost the company in his incompetence and lackluster work ethic believed to be the result of alcoholism. Late during and after his termination it became increasingly clear that many of the problems our customers he serviced were experiencing were the direct result of his inability to follow simple instructions within detailed processes. On more than one occasion he was reprimanded due to his horrible attitude and blatant disregard for rules put forth eliminating "side jobs." Note, when you are employed as a field service technician for a phone company, all work completed while utilizing company equipment should be billed directly by the phone company, not pocketed by the technician after work hours.

To all potential customers, please know we work to provide you with the best telecom experience possible, from billing to customer service to repair and we do this by employing individuals that do not treat employment in the telecom field as a means to survive, but as a dedicated career choice. It's my hope, as a current Datavo employee, that this Ripoff Report posting does not sway you in choosing a company dedicated to providing excellent service.
