I registered for an event with this company for speed dating.  Paid $35 online and was set to attend an event on April 9th.   The morning of the 9th I received an e-mail at 9:33am with instructions and information about the event.  I proceeded to get ready, go to Philadelphia by train and got to the venue a few minutes prior to the schedule start.    I decided to check my e-mail in this time frame and received another e-mail at 11am saying the event was cancelled due to uneven registration numbers.  Thanks for the advanced notice after already sending another e-mail confirming my registration just an hour earlier. 

I contacted the company and asked for a refund because I did not want to attend another event and because there were no other events that I could attend for 2 more months and none were in the correct age ranges.   I was told by email from the owner that the money was not refundable and could only be used for another event.   I explained that I did not want another event and they said too bad, no refunds.   They also stated "We didn't cancel your event, your date did".   WHAT?   It was a speed dating events and I received an e-mail with the subject "Your event was CANCELLED".  I sent this to them and they said no to a refund.

They said they do not care about negative reviews and that Match.com has tons of negative reviews and they are still a successful company.   I would never recommend Date & Dash to anyone!  It is a ripoff, they steal your money, and refuse refunds.  With them the customer is obviously not right.   That is just not how you do business.
