DAV Beauty Care WA BOGUS charges on my credit card for $59.99 per day! other other

I saw a video ad on Facebook back in September, 2017 for an interesting product and clicked on it.  I ended up ordering the product, along with a couple of other products in September.  They charged my credit card for the cost of those products, which I paid on my next cc bill. 

When my VISA statement came out in December, I noticed two charges from the same company ("HTTPSDAVBEAUTYMA" - DAV CORP) in the amount of $59.99 on 2 consecutive days (December 9th and December 10th)!  I had not ordered anything from that company after the 3 orders orders I placed in September.  I began to check online each day for the next week, and discovered that they charged my card $59.99 on December 13th, 14th and 15th as well!!  

I contacted Bank of America (who my cc is through) and disputed those 5 bogus charges.  They opened claims for each one and subsequently credited my account for those charges, adding that they do give merchants the opportunity to prove that the charges are valid. 

I was shocked to see 2 of those $59.99 charges re-charged on my statement by Bank of America, who explained when I called that the DAV Corp provided "proof" that I made those charges (which I DID NOT)!!!!  Bank of America also sent a letter with an explanation and copies of the electronic information that DAV Corp provided to them, showing that I made those charges.  I was absolutely FLOORED that a company would do such a thing!! I asked Bank of Amrerica what a merchant needs to provide when trying to justify that charges are valid.  They said the merchant needs to provide a customer's contact information and form of payment.  You'd think that anyone could dummy up a fake sales slip with this basic information, which DAV Corp has obviously done!

I re-opened the case with Bank of America regarding these two charges and am now anticipating the next step if DAV Corp tries to justify those charges again. At the recommendation of the Bank of America fraud department, I had to close that card out and have a new one re-issued.  This whole process has been EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING, since I not only pay all of my bills on time and my balances off each month, but I also have the majority of our bills associated with this particular credit card so we can earn miles for an upcoming trip.  A HUGE inconvenience to say the LEAST!!!

DAV Corp is a fraudulent company! Buyer Beware!!!
