Anyone thinking of hiring Mr. Dave Isaacson of Chilliwack, BC should think twice. He built a cabin for me. The tin roofing is too short to cover the insulation, but he didn't notice any problems even after it was brought to his attention. I have pictures of freshly fallen snow that fell right ON the insulation!
The cabin was supposed to be built to code, but he neglected to place a double header over windows. He neglected to place a double header at the top of the wall that supports the entire roof and the loft. I cannot get an occupancy permit.
The loft was not properly supported.
I caught him putting in a window which was completely crooked. He never used a carpenter's square once that I saw. He did take the window out and repositioned it after I brought it to his attention.
The cabin is full of gaps that rodents, squirrels, etc. can get in. Nothing is square.
He calls himself a Master Carpenter. DO NOT BELIEVE HIM! Shoddiest carpentry work EVER!
