This scam has been reported under different names (search Jones Family Boston Terriers puppies).  We were searching for a boston terrier puppy for my son and came across this site.  They were offereing boston terrier puppies for half the price of other sites and even free shipping as soon as that day.

We knew it sounded to good to be true.  I had emailed them and asked for additional picutres and they had sent them.  The email was quite odd in the questions that were asked.  I asked my husband to call and speak with them.  During that converstation, it was stated that we would have to pay for the puppy via western union.  My husband had asked for a video of the puppy, or the name/contact information of their veterinarian and wasn't able to provide any of the information.  That was the red flags went up and found the similar reviews.  Everything was the same except for the family name.

Their scam is to have you western union the money to them and then they don't send you a puppy.  With western union you have no legal recourse to recover the money.

Also, I found that the BBB file was initiate in April 2017, but they stated they had been in buisiness since 2007.

We did catch this before they got any of our money, but I want to warn everyone out there.

Please be careful and don't fall for this!!!!  Never use western union to send money for a transaction like this.

I just got off the phone with this Dave Boston Terrier.  I didn't get far enough to even discuss payment but it was all too sketchy to believe.  The man on the phone couldn't tell me what name had signed off of the email.  The area code was from Michigan, but he is in Richmond, VA.  A foreign accent doesn't bother me but with poor english and all the other shady elements, it's a red flag.  I said "If the puppy can't be picked up, put on a piece of cardboard or paper with my name and the date on it, then I don't want one."  He started talking fast with broken english and I could only make out was that he was making excuses of why he can't.  I told him to take a flying leap and hung up.
