Davi and Valenti Moving Company They charged a over a year to store our household items, then lost lost the vaults they were stored in and damaged a lot of items they did return without compensation Sarasota Florida

We contacted the company in October of 2016 about a move and the need for storage.  The company came out and packed our belongings however the moving truck they brought out was too small for the move and the pushed and shoved items into the vehicle.  The furniture was taken apart to the smallest detail which seemed rediculous but I was told this is what they do to protect it.  There were items that were put aside in a do not take zone.  These items disappeared and yet no one knew what happened to them when asked (this was on the day of packing).  The truck then left and went to storage which we paid them for on a monthly basis to store which I believed to be 7 vaults.  We were never given an inventory sheet of what was taken.  In March 2018 we contacted the company to set up delivery.  The company came with much regrets and apologized for all the furniture they delivered which was damaged beyond what one would comprehend.  This was a pretty local move!  Not only did items come in damaged but all the expensive stuff disappeared never to be seen again.  the company however was sold shortly after our move and no one wants to take the blame or responcibility for their negligence.  We were told they will pay us $300 for the loss of our mechanical frame to our bed which cost us over $3000, they won't pay for the 2 paynes of broken glass on an antigue curio cabinet they will not be returning all the missing inventory is a lost vault and they will not credit us back for what we paid for storage on this missing vault. 

We have been reasonable in our solutions but the company has put us off for months in trying to remeady this issue.  Also the person of contact Megan has put me off continuously and tells me she is speaking to the owners.  When I get the owners on the phone they have no clue about any of this and refers me back to Megan. 

Best advise stay away from this company and do not trust them with anything!!!  The results of your move will be devastating!
