I am a single woman who had to move from Nevada to Iowa.  i looked on the Internet for moving companies David Anderson was the first to call back and was very nice told me that they would move my stuff for .65 lb no extra charges, that was the rate. they would weigh the truck empty and full, then i would pay 60% at that time, minus the $300 paid up front, then they would weigh the truck when they get to Iowa, then unload my things and weigh again then i would pay the remainder, the movers showed up 2 hours early, no weigh slip and said my move was going to cost $3200, without looking in my storage. they were told to go weigh the truck and come back i would pay .65 lb,they kept telling me it was going to cost more that way,i told them that that is the agreement David and i made and that's the way i want to do it. they said then i will make you a deal it will only cost $2100. i explained again i was paying .65 lb he argued and we finally called David. we all went back and forth on the phone for about 3 hours David and i spoke the last time he said OK we will do the move as agreed i thanked him and hung up, the mover called back and said no matter what the agreement between David and i was the total was going to be $2100. i told them i was not paying that and to leave. it was very stressful and of course i have not heard from David Anderson again. They broke the verbal contract and i don't get my $300.00 back sound like a scam to me. Glad i sent them away when i did or i would be paying $2100. or more for my move that should have been $900 or so. The movers were very rude. David set this all up and has made no attempt to contact me. I have called asking for my money back because they broke our verbal contract
