It's funny., I was researching Mr. Blackstone once again, as I do on occasion to see what he's up to. What his latest antics are. Lo and behold, I find this site and this Ripoff Report came up while doing a search of DAVID BLACKSTONE's name.

I have a feeling I know who wrote that. Funny thing is, the update, about the popcorn equipment from RI, was ME. The story is true. In July 2004, David Blackstone contacted me via my website and expressed interest in some of the equipment I had for sale.

He came to RI, with the moving truck, as mentioned in the previous post, and we proceeded to make a deal. I got a note drafted up and we agreed on terms. He was a big talker and promised of all kinds of business he'd be doing and thus would be paying me.

As the months and years passed, the money came in in drips. All in all, he paid very little on his debt due to me. He broke every promise he made to me with regards to paying me back the money.

This man somehow got in to sell popcorn at the Superbowl in Jacksonville FL. As I spend some time there in the winters I was able to arrange to work there for him in an effort to help him to make the money to pay me back. I even let him and his then girlfriend, stay at my house in Fl. for the night so they didn't have to drive all the way to Miami.

We made money in the 5 locations we had, partly because I sold double the amount he 'expected' of me , and because he fudged the counts of the bags and cups that he reported to the concessions at the Alltel stadium. ie, he lied about what was sold, so the commission he paid was lower than it should have been.

I retained an attorney in RI and in Fl and filed suit against Mr. Blackstone and subsequently won. To this day, Mr. Blackstone has not paid.

I became aware that he sold / leased the rights to 1-800-popcorn to Dale and Thomas Popcorn aka, Popcorn Indiana and they were paying him decent money monthly for that right. I think they have had it with Mr. Blackstone because of all the creditors that must have contacted them in attempts to garnish his payments.

In 2008, Mr. Blackstone bought a house in Florida for $325 k but there is no mortgage listed on record anywhere. The funny thing is, he put a lien on his OWN house.

I believe the OP in that he is hiding all of his assets.

In 2009, I got legal notice that his condo was going to be foreclosed on in FLORIDA. This was after his mother died and he was trying to pull some stunt I'm sure.

Mr. Blackstone has two Canadian addresses as well. 185 Brooke Avenue, Toronto Canada M5MK7 and also 7601 BATHURST ST. # 102 THORNHILL L4J4H5 CANADA

Avoid this man at all costs. He's a professional scam artist and I will get him. I will collect the debt he owes me one way or another.

This update, as it pertains to a certain posting that I previously posted concerning my experience with David Blackstone, is to note that I wish to now remark that he and I have amicably resolved all of our issues and that I have voluntarily dismissed my lawsuit by settling matters in full with Mr. Blackstone.

Additionally, there may be be a comment about Mr. Blackstone that may be attributed to me as though I was the author. I was NOT the author and it was neither written by me nor written with my authority.

Mr. Blackstone and I have satisfactorily and amicably resolved our differences.
