David Clabough I (like a stupid person) gave him almost $4000 upfront to fix water damage on my ceilng. Tennessee

In 2014 we had a horrible hail storm and unfortunately my roof-along with a lot of other peoples roofs-did not stand up to golf ball size hail.  I am a very sick person and when the insurance adjuster came my husband was at work so he was only able to see the roof. 

I got the roof repaired and I had to pay extra because we had some rotten boards.  Because of the rotten boards, I had ceiling damage in one of the bedrooms,the kitchen and bad ceiling damage in the living room. A few weeks later the insurance adjuster came to house to evaluate the damge to the inside. He could tell from the damage that the roof was not up to par and we didn't get near enough money to fix the water damage.

Now here is where things get confusing.  David Clabough specializes in repairing air conditioning but he also fixes plumbing for some of his favorite customers. This is several months after the roof has been fixed and I come home from the hospital.  I had taken a fall in the bathroom and had to have an operation to have pieces of bone taken out of my spine. Then I spent weeks in Patricia Neal Rehabilitation learning to walk again.

During this time our washer had started running over so my husband quit doing laundry.  My neighbor called David Claboug and he came to the house and fixed the plumbing on the waher. He also sees the water damage and tells me that the rest of his family does jobs like that and he helps them when he has time. But he says that he will need the money upfront to buy the supplies because their family business is so small.

I am so impressed with him because he fixed my washer, worked on my gas furnace and even mowed my yard without even charching me anything. So I give him the money.

But life interferes. On the day that he is ready to start work on the house, he can't reach me because I am unconcous from a stroke. I am in the hospital about two weeks and in the nursing home 2 months,  When I get home my neighbor claims she heard that he may be in Mississippi. And his cell phone was turned off.  And Ihaven't heard from him. And I feel like such a fool.
