David Rich & DB Productions Barry Rich DISHONEST AND IGNORANT FILM PRODUCER Phoenix, Colorado

I just noticed this and had to laugh.  Not only does the person, Robert Walker, not know where the company has been located for several years, he does not even know the website.  I will not make any other comments as others have already placed rebuttals. It is a shame that someone has to vent like this because all people who worked on this project know the truth.  The movie is out on DVD and, no thanks to Mr. Walker, it was edited very well.  Thanks to all the hard working people of Richmond and Armada Michigan as well as the cast and crew.  They made this movie fun and enjoyable.

I am working closely with David on another project.  My experiences have been nothing but positive and professional.  I feel the negative comments lacked specific information which would explain David's alleged wrong-doings.  Therefore, I urge those who read the negative comments to take them with a grain of salt, as my experience with David has been exactly opposite.

This is written by the ex director Rob Walker, who was fired for cause.  I know this as I have been in contact with the producers of this movie.  He was fired at the end of the shoot because he continually undermined the executive producer and was unprofessional as, he laughingly called himself, a director.  He constantly changed the script from the original, failed to get establishing shots, film making 101, failed to notice boom mikes in many scenes, and appeared confused several times on the shoot.  Even when problems were brought to his attention he ignored them.

It is interesting that he referred to the executive producer as "A Jew"  which seems anti-semtic.  Mr. Rich was indeed new to film making but I never knew him to treat anyone badly.  He insured that everyone was feed well, there was a medic on the set at all times, and everyone was paid in full on the last day of the shoot.  The only person ever to complain was the fired director, go figure.  The tenor of this comment can be explained as the director wrote this just a few days after he was fired.  The truth be know, Mr. Walker threatened several times to walk if he did not get his way and on an 18 day shoot replacing him, as bad as he was, was not possible due to restrictions on time and money. 

If anyone wants to know the truth they can contact any of the crew listed on IMDB and ask them how Mr. Rich treated them or how Mr. Walker ran the set.  It was Mr. Walker's first attempt at a feature film with major stars and an American comedy.  I believe that he was really not ready for this level of film making as his genre is horror.

I would have responded to this sooner but we just learned of this, this weekend and someone had to defend Mr. Rich.  He came to Michigan and gave many of us jobs and paid us fairly.  We all would work for Mr. Rich again but not for Mr. Walker so that says it all.
