I received an Email from a Mr(Dr.) Peterson at the "lottery Board" (lotteryboard17@yahoo.com) indicating that I had won a "Yahoo/MSN online lottery programme" drawing in the October, 2007 drawings; an estimated 500.000GBP! In order to collect my winnings, I had to forward personal and banking information to Mr. David Roberts (MD), Managing Director of Barclays Bank London, 8 Canada Square, London, UK.
Unfortunately, I did give some information. However, when he requested that I copy/scan my ID card or Passport and send it to him for reference/security purposes and to send 500GBP via Western Union money fransfer to a Mr. James McDavid, British High Court Cashier, at the SAME ADDRESS as Barclays Bank, as processing fees to obtain sworn affidavits and duty stamp, I became VERY suspicious to the point of contemplating contacting the British High Commission Office in my residing country. I plan to follow this up with the British High Commission in my country in the very near future to clear the air in this matter.

Good grief..........

Why are you going to bother calling anyone!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a scam, simple as that! You state you have already given them "some" info they asked for----was it your banking info, account number/routing number and such? If YES, I would advise you to keep a very close watch on your account. You may wake up some day to find they have cleaned out your account to the last penny! And, it will be your fault.
