David Weekley built our home 11 years ago.   Soon after it was built there was a diagnal crack from one of the doors upstairs. One of the doors was never able to shut.  When I called the representative they said "what was I supposed to know about building a home on the side of a hill?"   As the years wore on we had more and more stress cracks in the home.  Finally, there was a loud pop noise in our home and most of the tiles across the center of our home had broken- in the bedroom closet, the wall had dropped down, master there is a separation under one of the windows, kitchen wood floors have separated, wall dropped from ceiling in office.,  We were still under the 10 year structural warranty at that time and once more we called David Weekley and the warranty co.  The same David weekley person who had been telling us nothing was wrong with our foundation arrived with the warranty person.  I was not really allowed to talk to the warranty person myself- in the home or when they went outside to see the cracks of the brick and slab. The report came back that there was no foundation issue with this home.  Not long ago, I had a repair person in my home and he said" wow- looks like your home is sliding down the hill".   At that point I called several foundation companies to look at my home and the reports came back with 15-25 piers needing to be put in.  As one guy said " builder brought in a bunch of fill dirt on the side of a hill and built a home on it".  Hope you can help us get this resolved!
