I was first contacted via an e-mail at my work and I replied. The next e-mail was to e-mail a gengleman and he would provide further information. I next recived an e-mail with a copy of a mutal agreement I signed with a copy of my drives' license. This man then e-mailed me a copy of power of attorney filled out and signed by a barrister, this allowed the barrister to put me down as the next kin to the deceased person. I also received a copy of an affidavit of claim as "next of kin" document, and there was a third document from the Royal court of justice showing zand affidavit of change of owership presented before a justice in Munich Wales.
I then get an e-mail from a person representing Natwest bank stating thst there were form attached and that I just had to put my address and sign the back of the form and that the ban would fillout the rest, so supidly I di what they asked along with a copy of my drivers' license.
The next e-mail was from the same bank representative stating that they had received all of my documents and had forwared the same to the accounts department and they waived a rather large fee. He stated that my funds were in a supense account until I opened an active account with Natwest, there was a deposit slip attched with a two numbers and six zeros afterwards..
My next e-mail from the represenative from the bank stated that my new account is open and active, they also gave me an account number with a pin number and that I would be getting my bank cards, cheque book & new account brochure via mail to my addess via DHL. The even gave a telehone number to call after receiveing the above items to verify that I would be confirming my account number, pin and balance included.
I then looked up Natwest in England and there is such a person as named in my e-mails from the bank. Here comes the "BANG of a catch", I recived an e-mail from the person from Natwest now wanting me to send them a whole lot of money or come to London and pay the court fees in person.Suppoosedly their legal department could not help me with the fees in order for me to get my finds that were "active and open account".He even gave me telephone number to call to advise me on how to send this 3,8000.00 pounds to them.
I sent a reply and it was not pleasant, I do not expect to hear from them. So my friends, be aware of an e-mail that looks too good to be true because it is.
