Davis Tire Center Highway Robbery, overpriced Jacksonville Florida

 We had a service call in Orlando from them, but after last night that will be our last!! $760 later for Gene to come dismount/mount a tire! A tire we provided for him! This is not the first time we've done business with him either. Horrible horrible customer service when his wife provides us with a quote for a previous blow out that was 90 miles closer for $300 with a tire provided. I guess Gene obviously had payroll due or something. Being a small business owner this is ridiculous. No communication at all. They didn't even tell us the price until after the job was already complete! ***** BEWARE!!!! Read before using this company***** The correct price we paid isn't even clearly written out on the invoice my driver received..Clearly this company/Gene felt the opportunity to take advantage of someone. Highly disappointed it went from $896.50 to $719 and we ended up paying him $760.. For a new tire we provided. How does that make sense? Knowing a price of $760 don't you think I would have called someone locally? ( in Orlando ) I would have saved your company the trip ( especially after you mentioning "you didn't want to do it" it on our voicemail ). A price was never mentioned to me, my husband, or my driver until the work was complete.

After doing my research today I called Crawford in Orlando and they do after hour calls for $50/ per hour. And $1.50 a mile. This is bogus! Nice try throwing us under the bus though. Your driver as well came in to my shop, talked to the owner, and not once mentioned prices. Took the tire and went on his way. This is crazy how you think we would leave a negative review knowing how much the price would be. Makes no sense. We would of simply said no thanks . Clearly there was a lack of communication. Who doesn't give a price before going 275 miles?!? And who charges $760 for a tire we provided them to just put on?! Who takes advantage of someone like that in a desperate time of need? Another local business owner!! And then told us he didn't want to do it to begin with after the fact I left this review on our voicemail. I never asked for anything back or for a deal. Just spreading the word to other business owners. Now he has employees, customers, friends trying to bully me into deleting my review via Facebook. Even to the point he had someone physically type a review on his business Facebook, and published it on my review I left without signing into their personal name! Isn't that fraud now? I have pictures, I have voicemails, and now I have a private message from Gene's wife saying she's taking legal action today for something they clearly didn't handle right the night of service.

These people! They don't stop! I wrote them a negative review, and now they want to take legal action. Sure bring the courts in here to see what kind of business you really are. We simply asked for a service, and which it is our right to write a review about the service we received. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau as well. You think I like leaving negative reviews...nope! My husband tried calling you(Gene), but he got your wife instead yelling "Karma is gonna get you." Now you're calling my tow truck driver trying to bash him bc we left a negative review. Please do not contact me or anyone affiliated with my business. She might preach karma, but it looks as though she dug herself into a hole that karma will complete.
