Daytona Mazda is actually a really great company with very nice people and great products.....

The problem is that they have a telemarketer company that uses fake, or spoofed telephone numbers to relentlessly harrass their customers, sometimes up to 8 times a day.  It is totally disruptive and irritating, especially since they are doing this to my company phone.

It is more than obvious what is going on, when I mistakenly answered one of their fake numbers, the guy had the details on my car, service history, etc, etc.  So Daytona Mazda gives out its customer information to some jerks who use a spoofing program to use REAL PEOPLE's phone numbers to call, multiple times per day.  They use fake area codes from where they are calling from to hide who they really are.  My fraud detection system sometimes picks them off, but not always.

Since they do this multiple times during the business nday, it really screws up my business.  

I believe this form of fraud is EXACTLY that - and basically a form of identity theft performed at a corporate level.  REal people purchase real phone numbers, the scammers and spoofers usee o sneak into telemarketing calls.  I consider it to be criminal activity.

So there you go... a really great company that uses deceptive and annoying tactics to disrupt your life, DAILY and multiple times each day.  I know they farm their marketing out to somebody else, but TH pick the companies that use these tactics.  What a mistake!!

And what's tragic about this is that Daytona MAzda is actually a really great compnay, with great people and excellent cars... they just made a huge mistake with their predatory sales tactics and choice of a very bad teleeming company.  What a shame!!
