DDM Tuning DDM Tuning Refuses to Warranty Their Products Vista California

I purchased an HID kit from DDM Tuning in January 2012. This kit came with a lifetime warranty for the bulbs and ballasts. One of the ballasts quit working and I sent it back for warranty replacement. DDM contacted me to tell me that they would not warranty the ballast because it was not purchased from them.

Ordinarily, I could see how someone might purchase things from more than one vendor and get confused about where they purchased it. I have purchased exactly two HID kits in my life and they were both purchased from DDM Tuning. I wish I would have researched them more before I purchased. They have bad reviews all over the internet and many complaints with the BBB.

I talked with the GM and he refused to stand behind THEIR PRODUCT. These kits are drop shipped from China. There is no way he could possibly know every variation of every product that gets shipped out. This is a case of one hand not knowing what the other is doing.

We're talking about a small amount of money involved, but the principle of it is what matters. A lifetime warranty is only as good as the company standing behind it. In this case, it's worthless. Do yourself a favor and purchase from another company...one that WILL stand behind their products!
