I and others are still being played by Dealer Staff. They are fraudulently presenting them selfs as car dealer ships over monster.com and careerbuilder.com which offer salary of $50K and above plus commission and signing bonus. When in fact, they are a home grown, self made scam artist team (husband and wife)who charge "you" the incumbent $35.00 for a paper booklet for training purposes.
I am an experienced car sales man and found it odd that the company offered bogus training as the others stated. They capture unemployed people with their false advertisement under actual car dealerships, not a recruiting agency.
First of all, they hold a two day so-called training session via conference with their NC colleagues and monitor everyones activities; they discourage everyone from speaking to one another. I myself found it odd that they required $35.00 in cash to provide us with a self made booklet that cost $3.00, I then did not agree with their training techniques and was discussing the car dealer process with the others in the class, and was told not to discuss my previous car dealer experiences. I should have blown the top of their scam then...but again; I was locked in when I gave them $35.00.
They promised free refreshments, which there were none provided, they required all the men to clean shave for the second day of the training, and when I asked why was this a requirement, they could not offer an answer.
They advertised that after the training we would be able to choose which dealer ship we would like to work for, this too was false, they choose the dealer ships themselves.
After the two day training, I was notified by Dealer Staff of their dealer choice and was provided an interview appointment and the pay, which was much less then their advertised annual pay of course.
I now find out that they receive $85.00 for every car you sell during your 90 day probation period. It seems that Dealer Staff and the car dealerships are Pimping people.Faults advertising from Dealer Staff and the Car Dealer ship.Stay far, far away from any sales advertisements that offer an annual salary and singing bonus.
