Several Internet shopping discounters under differnet names are not following through on their promises. Company names include but are not limited to...

They are all affiliated with "membershipme.com" and "dealpass.com"
In order to receive their "Free Gifts", these companies(?) will charge you a $1.00 processing fee on your credit card to supposedly validate that you are an adult. You probably will not be able to recover these fees unless some form of litigation is filed.
What is even worse is that all of the companies will charge $139.95 to your credit card before their so called "Free Trail Period" has elapsed.
I managed to get these charges re credited to my credit card but only after threating to file suit. Since they did refund the charges I will not be filing but I do warn all of you out there to beware.
They are very difficult to track down, however they do include a toll free number on the credit card bill (as required by law). Since then I have found another toll free number to use but have not tried it since I have already been compensated.

I do intend to make them give me my just rewards by seeing to it that they make good on the "Free Gift" offers.
Perhaps more of us should get together and file a class action suit.
