DealTree.com DealTree Trade-in Scam Ripoff Tustin California

I heard about DealTree's offer to pay for old cell phones after replacing a phone. I filled out their form online, and was informed that I would be paid $11.21 for the phone. I shipped the cell phone to them, and on April 5 received an e-mail that the phone was received in the state I had described, and that $11.21 had been transferred to my PayPal ID.

I checked my PayPal account five days later, but had not received a payment from DealTree. I verified that the e-mail address/account ID was correct. I then e-mailed their customer service to advise that payment was never received, and their response was "Trade In Completed. Payment Ref: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Dealtree Customer Support (BEP)."

It's only $11.21, but I never received the funds, and that's not right.
