I found Bentley Fin. on line with the Little Rock,Ar. yellow pages under lenders. I filled out an app. for my husband. 2 days later I had a phone call saying he was approved for a first time buyers loan for $45,000.00. All we had to do was secure the loan with a deposit and morgage insurance .

The reason told to me was because the "third party private lender" would not cover the full amount of the "grant".I was told that the amount was to be $3900.00 but Bentley would pay $1950.00 and we pay $1950.00. When we could provide a credit history of 3 months of on time payments then the $1950.00 would be refunded to us.They also insured me the money would be deposited within 48 hours of receiving the confermation of payment(1950.00).

They sent a "contract" via fax for my husband to sign and we sent it back with the confermation numbers of Western Union wire transfer. The next day I had a phone call from Bentley saying that the 3rd party ran a full credit report and found a garnishment on my husbands report and now they request an additional $1000.00. Again Bentley said they would pay half. I told them NO! send me back my money. They haggled and reduced the amount to 300.00.

The next day I was told by the "boss" of the girl hepling me that she had no right telling me that I only had to pay half. I was to pay the whole 1000.00. I told him NO! send me my money back and void the agreement. He haggled and told me he assures me that within one hour of delivery of $200.00 that the "check" he was holding in his hand would be transferd into our account.

I did not hear from them until the next day after I told them via voice mail that if I didn't hear from someone that day I had no other choice but to contact legal services. Then they told me they had trouble transfering the funds. I gave them the details about my credit union's wire policies. "I'll call you right back". No call for three days.

I talked to my sister in Ga. who works for a law office and sent her the forms. After one of the lawyers looked at the "contract" they did research on the company as well as Dean Goldwater. Boy O Boy ! Dean is "well know" for internet fraud. Has been for years.

Why hasn't something been done about him by now? My sister said count you blessings if you even get half of what you gave them. How do I go about getting my refund back?The total I paid was $2625.98.

Now all the numbers I have are disconnected and no reply to emails.
