This is the letter sent to me by email claiming I've inherited money:

Thank you for your prompt response to the bequest notification that was sent to you. This Chambers acknowledges the receipt of your email. I want to inform you that you have absolute right to reject this Bequest as much as you have the right to accept it(If after proven to be the actual beneficiary), if you then wish to turn it down, you should let me know so that a Will rejection can be sent to you to fill and revert to this chamber.I tried to call you but the response from dialling your number was that the number doesn't exist and we shall appreciate your phone call so as to expedite actions with the necessary requirements in regards to the bequest.

Mr. Rolf Hoffmann was a German business oligarch, an industrialist and an art collector, who earned numerous awards, one of which includes, Nobel Prize for economics. He was Born in Naumberg, Germany 12 July 1934 and died in London, 17 October 2006. He was married to a wife, Erika Hoffmann, one Son(Kurt Hoffmann) and two Daughters(Maria Farrel and Joan Scott). Rolf Hoffmann was the creator, with his wife Erika Hoffmann-Koenige, one of the world's important collections of modern and contemporary art, the Sammlung Hoffmann, in Berlin, but he was equally renowned in the fashion trade for transforming his family firm Van Laack into a major enterprise. Fluent in a wide variety of languages and social milieux, he is a pioneered investor in Tribeca(New York-USA). Hoffmann seemed the archetypal citizen of the world but his position in German business and cultural politics, his patrimony and philanthropy, was local in the best sense. He has visited many nation in a bid to eradicate the stigma pose by poverty and administer his will on January 10th 2005. Being a widely travelled man, he must have been in contact with you in the past or simply you were nominated to him by one of his numerous friends abroad who wished you good.

Since the demise of my late client's Mr. Rolf Hoffmann and the reading of his Will at the court, we have been in search of all his beneficiaries. My contacting you was base on recommendation by my late client. we haven't met before neither do I know you but by virtue of what we have on our files, I will appreciate if you please re-confirm to us your complete details so as to cross check with what we have here. For security reasons and to avoid identity theft, it is imperative that you furnish this honorable chamber with the below details for due verification as I cannot go beyond my jurisdiction.

This must include:

1.Full names

2.Past & Present address (Preferably in the last four to five years)

3.Direct telephone and fax number.

Upon the receipt of your complete details and found to tally with what we have on our record, I shall immediately provide you with a copy of the late Rolf Hoffmann Last Will & Testament and thus instruct you legally on how to proceed with the funds transfer. On the contrary, Any difference or discrepancies in the information provided by you will mean that I am contacting the wrong person and I will stop all communication with you out rightly.

Your information would be taken to the Probate Registry Division of the Royal High Court of Justice, London for authentication, you will be given instructions on contacting the Probate Department for application of the probate document. This document (Court Probate Order) is an important document - as it is required to prove the Will and give legal right to mandate the Financial Institution (in custody of the inherited funds) to transfer the funds to you as the beneficiary of same. On this note, please do not inconvenience your very self much as you will be treated in a legal and security bound environment.

We sincerely hope that the above requirement be sent to us sooner that later for us to proceed with the documentation. And note that we cannot send any document to you until we are fully convinced that we have the true beneficiary. And note that we have a period of (28) working days to conclude this so I can move on to the next beneficiary on the WILL of my late client.
