Do not trust!

dishonest, unreliable. does not do good work. (my last email to him below)

you have demonstrated that your communication is not to be trusted

1. i initially contacted you and was told that you would be out on in April to look at my roof (and other repairs that i needed including the ceiling and wall in my porch back room that had been damaged by the roof leak). You did not show up or call.

2. i followed up and called to find out why you did you show up as promised. your wife/partner apologized and confirmed another appointment which you did show up.

3. you gave me a quote on which we agreed. you were paid in two checks. the first prior to the work and the remainder on completion. (the work and questions posed to you are amended with this email)

4. on july 7th i called and left a message indicating that my roof was "leaking like a sieve", and requested a call asap. YOU DID NOT RESPOND

5. The following day july 8th i sent an email, which you did respond to and thereafter promised to come out and do the repair. "Is this the first time it's leaked since the repair? I will come out this week once my schedule is firm." YOU DID NOT, communicate to me why you did not reply

6. your email of last night (above) is patently without merit, as you have always replied via your IPhone indicating that you have ALWAYS had the ability to respond. 

let me reiterate. I DO NOT want you on my property for any reason. Since i do believe that you actually did work on my roof, as evidenced by the fact that the leaves were pushed off the roof and left in my yard, and you left MY BROOM (not one of your tools) on the roof where it remains to date. 

i am asking that you refund 1/2 of funds paid to you. or if you wish, i would like a refund of the total paid to you minus the costs of materials (documented with appropriately dated receipt). i expect the refund to be in my mailbox by this friday the 26th. (this may be done via US mail or hand delivery)

if you are in default of this, i will initiate the official complaint process with the BBB. Further i will initiate complaint process with the city of new orleans bureau of revenue.

As stated previously, i am requesting no further communication (electronic/telephonic). you have had more than ample opportunity to communicate and rectify the situation.
