DEBT BY DEBT SETTLEMENT SERVICES STOLE MONEY UNDER FALSE PRETENSES DALLAS Texas

In May of 2006. we were appoached by this company Debt by Debt Settlement Services saying that they could lower our credit card debt by 70 percent. We agreeded to this and put money in the bank each month for them for nine months. We realized that they were not negotiating with any creditors and threw my husband into collections, litagation and arbitration. He had a wonderful credit rating until this point.

When we asked for our money back they would not talk to us for about 150 phone calls . They sent us a threatening letter which of course was fradulent. We had to change our bank account because they even took money from the bank account when we cancelled with them. They were not licensed to take money in the states of Rhode Island or Connecticut for the purpose of debt settlement.

They outright stole close to $5,000.00 dollars from us without doing one thing to help us. We connected the Attorney General of Rhode Island , they wrote to them and called them. They admitted guilt by offering a settlement of $250.00 dollars. That of course is totally unacceptable.

We now have an attorney In Dallas who will help us. They totally ruined my husband's life and credit and knew that they would. They also have another name that they used called Bella Financial, which we found out was just an umbrella company that they use. We want everyone to be aware of their deceptive practices. They have 6 bad reports with the Better Business Bureau of Dallas, but we feel that people are afraid to come forward. We thank you for letting us write to you.
