Debt Relief USA Ripoff---Scam Addison Texas

My family became involved with Debt Relief USA in Dec 2007. After many medical bills, we found ourselves sinking in debt and tried to stay afloat using our credit cards. Debt Relief USA seemed to be the answer to our prayers. But on June 3rd, 2009 after not receiving any correspondence from them on an account that we are scheduled to be in court for, I called only to hear on the other end from their answering machine, they have ceased doing business.

We have paid them $345.00 per month for the last 2 1/2 years which totals up to well over $10,000.00 and are now farther in debt than when we began. With this $10,000.00, Debt Relief USA has settled two small accounts which total to about $2,400.00, but what has happened to the rest of my money? I know about $4,000.00 has gone to their administrative fees but they should still have about $4,000.00 of my money. I desperately need this money to try and work with this account that is taking me to court. And might I add, don't believe it when they tell you that a credit card won't take you to court, becasue they will.

STAY AWAY FROM DEBT RELIEF USA and companies like it.
Please BEWARE of this company and people like these. We are now trying to work with our creditors to pay off this mountain of debt.
