My story is similar to that of many who have posted here already. I entered the program in October of 2003 as I thought it was a way to avoid bankruptcy while honoring my debt.
Debt Relievers was given authorization to electronically withdraw a monthly payment to disburse to my creditors. Unfortuantely this did not happen in a timely manner. Payments were not sent to my creditors on a monthly basis and at times the payment amount sent did not match the agreed upon rate. As a result several of my creditors are droping me from the repayment program increasing my interest rates and adding late fees / over the limit fees. With several of my creditors I am now DEEPER in debt!!!!! With one I am now facing a possible lawsuit.
I tried repeatly to get a response from DR as to why this was happening and they blamed my creditors for refusing my payments or not applying them to my account ... right. It's amazing that all of my creditors have the same "payment received date" Which clearly indicates that the problem is with DR and their inability to pay my debts in a timely manner.
