I was contacted by Jackie Koven representing DLS and offered a plan to pay off my credit cards. I started getting behind due to financial hardships (health, husband got demoted, etc) and was told to not answer any calls and a plan was offered of payments. The deductions started on April 15, 2009 and subsequently 3 more deductions were taken out in the amount of $906.91. Starting with 9/15/2009 the deductions went to 566.82 and I cancelled the agreement after I started received letters from law firms regarding litigation.
My debts increased dramatically as I was not paying anything on the credit cards and I got alarmed. I found out that there was no action taken by the DLS and I have paid them over $8600.00 which I now know were upfront fees. I contacted the attorney general in the state of FLorida and basically he was of no help.
I believe that I was totally misled by the company and my debts and credit score went down the tubes.
I would like to know if there is any recourse available to me. I have tried to contact the company numerous times, not able to reach them and could never get ahold of Jackie Koven. Please help. I am under tremendous financial hardship and cannot believe that I was ripped off as I was.

There is many companies with seveveral different connected scams mainly based at: 4500 Campus DR., Newport Beach, Ca 92660 They claim to be many things but mostly say they are a lawfirm. In the last year some of the names they have used: PRUDENT LAW, REMEDY CENTER, NATIONAL REMEDY CENTER, HOME REMEDY CENTER, Most of their fraud on consumers are loan modification scams and debt relif scams. When they are finished milking you they then sell you to a bankruptcy attorney in your neghiorhood. They are owned by Matt Brinks, Blake Krumme, Mike Zedah, Brian Levine and Scott Royhstein.
They never pay employees or anyone else for that matter..Report them to your state attorney general, FBI, FTC, THE CALIFORNIA STATE BAR and THE NEWPORT BEACH CALIFORNIA POLICE DEPARTMENT.
