Debt Settlement America Ripoff Dishonest Deceptive Beware of This Company Dallas Texas

I am an ex employee of this company. First, the company says on their web site that "Bonded: All employees are bonded with a $100,000 Surety Bond." this is a lie. I was never bonded while working for this company.

Second, this company routinely gets offers from credit card companies for 30-35% of the original debt and never tells the client, and the client is sued for the full amount and DSA disappears and does not help the client anymore, or they say they will still negotiate, but why negotiate for less money, when you have a judgment against the client.

Third, DSA (Debt Settlement America) signs up clients who are in serious debt knowing they cannot negotiate with certain creditors (credit card companies) and takes the clients money and does NOTHING.

Forth, DSA has a more than average turnover rate, when a client calls and gets a different Client Representative, they tell the client that their former client rep has been transferred to another department or promoted and they will now handle all the problems the client has. This is false or misleading, 85% or more of the time the old client rep no longer works for DSA.

And Finally Fifth, the rebuttal from the company names Chris as a representative, he is in fact one of the Owners of the Company.

Also, on a final note, if you believe this company has wronged you. File a Formal written complaint with the Dallas County Better Business Bureau; you will get your money back. Every time I have seen someone file a written complaint with the BBB, Debt Settlement America has given them their money back.
