Deck Renewal And More Horrible customer service in so many ways St. Paul, Minnesota

We had this company do our deck in 2008.  Although this was two years ago, I have seen posts on this page since and decided to add my 2 cents if I can help prevent someone else from going through what we experienced. It took months for them just to get the old stain off, due to multiple continued excuses, although they already had our money.  They left the chemical on that was supposed to eat away at the stain for days because they weren't able to come back when they said they would, which I think ended up damaging the wood. When I tried to contact them for status they never returned my calls though I left multiple messages. Finally got ahold of the owner John and I totally agree with other posts, he was extremely rude and did not seem to care one bit about customer service.  I was astonished at how he talked to me on the phone. We finally got the supposed protective stuff put on our deck and decided not to have them stain it since they gave such terrible service and were so rude.  They told us our deck would be fine without putting the stain on it but after one winter it looked terrible, the wood is all soft and scraped up and it wasn't like that before they did their process.  Unfortunately we think they ruined our deck.  We asked them about it and of course they denied it and said the wood was probably like that before they came. Also, FYI, they say on their web site that they are a Better Business Bureau member but their membership was revoked and they now have an "F" due to customer complaints.
