DECK RENEWAL & MORE STAIN ONLY STAYED ON DECK FOR 7 DAYS NOT 7 YEARS LIKE WARRANTY STATED. SAINT PAUL , Minnesota

We had our decks and gazedo stained by Deck Renewal & More last fall.  We signed up to have them done on May 23,09 and it took them until August to get around to it.

They were messy doing the job did a bad job, had to have them come back and redo many areas, finally we just told them to leave us some stain and we would touch it up.  A few weeks later we notice the stain was coming off, I called the sale person and he said not to worry it was under warranty but would have to wait until the weather got better.  He said he had about 50 decks that had the same thing going on with them.  He said they got some bad stain from the mgf.

So Spring comes and I again call the sales guy and he said that he doesn't work for the company anymore, I asked since when and he said since last fall.  I asked if he was working for them when I called the first time and he said no.  I then asked why he didn't tell me that at the time and he said he was helping out the company. 

I started to email the address on the website and after a few day I did get a answer.

This is what he said:

Please send your inquiry for warranty work to: dan@uscoatingsolutions.com They are the manufacturer. There has been a complete failure on all decks done with their process, 20 year Nano Seal & 2 coats of Saturate prime PLUS stain. Deck Renewal and more is no longer in business because of this. Legal action is being taken on your behalf and many others to get them to stand behind the faulty product that was sold to DR&M. You will receive further correspondence explaining all soon. 

I did contact US Coating and he said that Deck Renewal did not use the right product and did not have their customer fill out the warranty form from US Coating ( which no one got) so no warranty from them.

We are now out 2667.00 and will have to have them all done again.
